What Are Chrome Blow Bars?
Chrome blow bars are made from high-chromium cast iron or steel alloys, with chromium content typically ranging from 12% to 28%. The addition of chromium significantly enhances the material’s hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. The microstructure of chrome blow bars often includes a matrix of hard, wear-resistant carbides dispersed in a tough martensitic or austenitic matrix, depending on the specific alloy and heat treatment.
Applicable Conditions
Properties: The outstanding characteristic of chromium steel is its enhanced hardness, which has a high wear resistance advantage in applications where both manganese and martensitic steels wear faster.
Recommended for:
- Secondary crushing of natural stone or river pebble
- When the feeding size is small
- No unbreakable object
